The Purple Cam is a notch above
the red and a notch below the Blue
Cam, which we used to see Virgil
use. Now, Virgil is using this
one and it's no wonder. It gives
you more action than the Blue
but with almost the power.

The Red is ultimate action but
you sacrifice some power.

One more thing - On the side of
the pedal, where you adjust the
beater distance, there are help-
ful notches that guide you. I
have mine on notch to the left
of center, the beater a little
closer to the head. This allows
me to do a relaxed single-stroke,
with my heel down and quick. I
encourage you to try it and find
what's right for you.
